My background
Vince Duvall, an accomplished actor, has been a prominent figure in crime television since his first SAG job on "Midnight Caller" in the 90s. Over the years, he has showcased his talent alongside renowned actors such as Kevin Costner, Jon Hamm, Nathan Fillion, Alec Baldwin, James Caan, Charlie Hunnam, Anthony LaPaglia, Patricia Arquette, Laurence Fishburne, Paul Guilfoyle, Viola Davis, Tim Roth, and Craig T. Nelson. His versatility extends beyond crime dramas to sitcoms and family entertainment, as well as a variety of indie feature films and shorts. Vince is also a producer, contributing to DWF, the last truly independent film festival, held annually at the Hollywood Chinese Theater since its founding in 1998.
Originally from Boston and later San Francisco, Vince honed his craft through his film and theatre education at UCLA and business studies at UC Berkeley. His exceptional talent was recognized early on when he won the Shakespeare Award at UCLA, which led him to Oxford, England. There, he studied classical acting with professionals from the UK film industry, the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC), the London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art (LAMDA), and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA).
Vince's stage career began with a leading role in "Acapulco," written and directed by Steven Berkoff at the Odyssey Theater in Los Angeles. In addition to his acting career, he has managed Dodger Stadium and franchised Seattle's Best Coffee in the greater LA area. Outside of acting, Vince is a writer, stand-up comedian, and avid traveler.
My writing roots
AS A WRITER: Vince Duvall began story writing in grade school with a little tale about a seventh grader who has visions. He spent several months of that year convincing faculty that it was not autobiographical – and the visions weren’t about them. He continued to write throughout his education, being published in local periodicals of San Mateo County and the East Bay in Northern California. Studying Business at UC Berkeley, Duvall found his way into the writing program there as a necessary balance against the exacting demands of Macro Economics, contributing to his film and theatre education. His best story INSTITUTION was conceived from the jail cell of the campus. In Los Angeles, he helped start what has become an immensely popular website for adult XXX stories and began writing plays and screenplays. Cut to: several years later… Vince Duvall-DePasquale has written over ten features. He has had deals with companies like CinePro for scripted feature material, many options on feature projects, and some script doctoring. He has sold three feature spec scripts and is very proud to have many ideas "co-opted" in submission to larger filmmaking companies, reflecting his impressive actor biography.
